Welcome to Juniper Corral! I live in Spray, Oregon a very rural area within Wheeler County east of the Cascade mountain range, where the Juniper trees invade the land. I chose the name, Juniper Corral, because for the last year and a half that I have contemplated creating this blog my dad has been finishing his new corral with none other than….Juniper. A year and a half I have been mulling over this blog through my mind on a daily basis, over and over again. I love to write and I absolutely love photography, I always have,and I love living where I do, however, there are not a lot of social activities available. I am one of those individuals that needs something going on in my life, at all times, I don’t like being bored and have always enjoyed a little chaos.  My youngest child has less than a year and she will be in school and I will find myself alone during the day and it almost terrifies me. I frequent Pinterest and was constantly seeing pins about blogging and started to do my research. A ton of research! I wanted to create everything on my own so I had the knowledge, I’ll admit, it took awhile and I’m still learning but it has been so much fun.

I have lived in Oregon my entire life, growing up in the Willamette Valley and now residing in the Eastern part of the State. I honestly hadn’t planned on moving here, but failing to find a job after college and the rising rent left my husband and I no other choice. I may not have stayed on the path I intended, but we are the creators of our own happiness and sometimes you have to bloom where you are planted. My husband and I have three beautiful healthy children that thrive in this area and I wouldn’t see it any other way,as a mother I truly believe that your child’s happiness is your greatest success.
