So, we still have Sally The Sheep, the one who didn’t make weight at fair this year. We weighed her this weekend and she is slowly gaining weight, but at least gaining.
She’s lonely all by herself so my daughters have been letting her out and roaming the yard. She has proven to be respectful of most of my plants and would rather just eat the leaves of the elm trees.
Last night I caught my youngest trying to bring her into her room! She just wanted to show her her new goldfish she won at a fundraiser the day before. I mean, why not, right?!? She honestly would live in a barn if we let her, no joke!
However, I’m starting to think Sally thinks she is a dog now. She is constantly trying to play with them and the dogs are quite confused as what to do. As my dogs ran the fence line to bark at a neighbor, that drives by everyday and you think they would recognize it by now, right? No! they bark at the wind! Sally decided to run with them.
I’m sure I got some laughs about that, not many people have a lamb running around with there dogs. I’m just glad we live where we do and I have minimal judgement.
So, for a few more weeks I get to enjoy this amusement, however I have a feeling it’s going to be even harder to say goodbye when we need to.
