PLACES LIKE THIS……..

Is it hard to live in a rural area? Yes and No.

Places like this, I may have to travel a 100 miles and 2 hours to get groceries and animal feed, but I get to look at views like this everyday. Views that make all your problems look small.

Places like this, work can be hard to find, but it’s out there if you’re ambitious enough. You learn to improvise on a wide range of things, from recipes to plumbing.

Places like this, medical care is a long ways away, but it is the healthiest place to raise your children.

Places like this, you will meet some of the most honest people you have ever met in your life. People who will help you when they have nothing to give. People who will look after your children and correct them when you’re not around.

Places like this, your children may not experience the opportunity of playing every sport out there but they will develop extraordinary teamwork on the sports they do offer.

Places like this, your children will receive a high quality education, one on one advising, and get the opportunity to experience modern technology. They will also get the education to accomplish tasks without technology.

Places like this, your children will learn the importance of gardening, canning, and preserving.

Places like this, educate on the process of raising livestock, growing crops to feed those livestock, and developing a compassion for the hard work.

Places like this, most believe there is no compassion towards these animals, but most don’t see those awake through out the night to monitor those animals while they’re birthing. Most don’t see the compassion it takes to warm a baby animal to assist the mama or for the ones that have lost their mama.

Places like this, create a strong work ethic for your children. They learn physical labor and the importance of completing the job. They learn that they must work for what they want, nothing is ever handed to you in this world.

I have lived in the city, and I enjoyed it. The convenience of everything is nice. However, most of the people, the traffic, the crime, are not convenient. Places like this teach you to find yourself, to find out what you are capable of doing.
